On another note, yesterday was the anniversary of Kristallnacht.
My great-great grandfather was Jewish. I have no idea what his name was, but my last name shouldn't be Ulrich. My great-great grandmother married into the Ulrich family. So, I should have a different last name. Anyway, for a while I didn't know what to think of it, whether I should consider myself grafted in or part of the original tree (Romans 9-11). I'm overjoyed, none-the-less. I probably shouldn't consider my own self Jewish (Messianic Jew), but I am proud of that heritage. I don't even know if he was Jewish by blood or by choosing.
At any rate, it's pretty special to me, and I always feel a deep sadness in my heart when I think of the Holocaust.
